Happy St Paddy's Day Game wrap up....

One musical interlude will describe Kodiak's thoughts on this past weekend's game play.....
Anyhoo,
13 playa's descended onto Fireshirt's home (with Mrs Curious) this game around. A huge pot after some rebuys and some "crazy play" ended up with a game end time after 330, three ladies hitting the coin, and some wild and wet outside adventures. Go Pete!
Pre rebuy, first to go, after about 100 all-ins or so we think as we were at two tables...the "all-in chaos" and the "25c raise? I fold!" were again distinctive at the onset....but yes, first to go was tracey the tree hugger...outed by James on a daring call after the board was laid out with a flush draw, a straight draw and a full house possibility. She moves all-in, he holds QQ and has 2 pair and calls....she had Ace high. Good lord!
Back on the on table, Rico fell pre rebuy by Ross. Rico moves all in at the flop with JQ (hearts)...flop had hit 8-9-10 (heart-club-club). Ross calls with his JQ (spade and club). Ah, a split. Nope! Ross catches a back door flush when a 3 and a 2 of clubs fall. Bad beat, more $ to the kitty.
Also out by 10 was Chaos man but unsure of that hand altogether.
After 10, some fell fast again. Others cockroached on.
First out, tracy the tree hugger taken out at 1015 by Nikki. She gets to now become our server girl - and quite a good one, although i expect she was disgruntled by the tips. Then Heather fell taken down by GI Joe and GI Jane with AQ - flop had hit 10-5-A, she makes a move and is called by both, who both have 10-5 and 2 pairs, after calling a preflop raise. uh-huh.
Chaos man fell next by Fireshirt but my green crayon scribbles do not show how...although I think this was the hand where the board was laid out and Fireshirt said Chaos man had outs left....all the cards were down, eesh...and he was dealing!
Gi Joe fell next after taking tracy's seat when people switched up to even the tables, also taken out by GI Jane....again, beaten by a girl :>)
And then the two worlds collide with 9 playa's in, and a huge freakin stack by GI Jane. She quickly smushes Kill...who frequents the tree now as well, and reamerges damp and mussed up, He on the straight draw, she calls with KK. KK holds the fort.
Kodiak gets one out (after almost being out at 11) - She fires bacon in a big way when calling his preflop allin - his KQ did not hold vs her KK. Bam!!
And then GI Jane takes down Ross who had been greatly weakened in another hand (I think by Stuey?). He has no choice but to move all-in with about $4, her Ace high holds. GI Jane's next victims were Fireshirt and Stuey, in order. In Stuey's hand, Flop was 10-J-3. He moves with 7-10, she calls with K9 but turn and river hit a QQ and she gets her straight.
Rico falls next, bubble boy, by Gi Jane. Flop had hit 2-2-10. He figured his A-3 was good with her check. He makes a move, she calls (it's very few chips to her!)....She has the 10.-9 and her pair holds. It also should be noted, Rico had his luck used a few hands earlier moving all in with KQ. Kodiak calls quick with AK but he hit the queen to double up.
Left in play, all in the $ are Why Not Kim, Kodiak and GI Jane. Why Not is short stacked, gets some cards and makes her move. GI Jane calls and her hand holds.
Then the brutal head-up tourney begins......Kodiak is short with ony 1/4 GI Jane's stack. She gets a few great hands that hold early on, in the first 10 minutes and quickly the roles are reversed but then nothing, and we mean, nothing happens for a long time after that. No raises, or some but they are almost all called (even kodiak's preflop$20 with AK called with 94 offsuit - she hits a FH - Must be the Irish luck - good play though). Flops and turns are very frequent and even river shows... but high cards take pots...there are splits...there are ltd raises with top pairs. It's a debunkle....but all so worth it to watch everyone who is left waiting to drive people, drink a lot or just curse. about an hour later, Kodiak is wiped out. She was at a loss, and although she doesn't have the cash for the kids' swimming, she has enough to buy a 24. Whew. Home time-and in bed by about 415. eesh.
But a great game and lots of fun.
Some quotes...
Fireshirt " Rub me, rub me ! Where is Colin White?" (as overheard by table one)
Stuey" Is that your leg James?" overheard by Table one
About My Phee, "As the Master seaman, he shoves stuff into a tube"
Rico, about Tracy, "Everytime we took a trip, she licked my timbits"
See, even when you don't play, we talk about ya!
Kodiak out
