Another small one....

Well playa's, we had another small game with four of the diehards in attendance. Stu, Petey, Kodiak and Rico were all there to lose some $ or make some if so lucky. Petey boy was luckiest of all....

Dominating from the get go, Petey pecked at our stacked, eventually dismantling us all. First it was Stu who was taken down, then Kodiak and finally Rico. Game over 1145. Wowsie.

So we three gamblers put in another $10 and played a turbo which lasted under an hour with blinds doubling every 15 mins. Again, Petey took our chips but Kodiak survived to 2nd.

Hell hath frozen over and pigs are flying....

Well, it finally happenend - it took over one year and a short handed table but Kodiak pulled off a win last night in our little game against Rico in a 20 mins heads up battle. I entered with 40% chips and got down to $20 but came back and finally my pocket fives hit trips on a flop and Rico's pocket twos were no good. Rico had $8 for the next big blind but an Ace high took him out. Whew. And just when I thought it was time to stick with Go Fish....

4 players in the end and a late night start. Rico, Kodiak, Bacon aka MC Drywall and Troy showed up. No rebuys/top ups so the pot was as is (Rico and Kodiak did split it though given the mood of the night when they started their heads up...but then it was a points battle b/c a win for Rico would have eeked him past Stu in the standings).

Bacon was first to leave, taken down by Troy - Troy calls his all in with a 96 suited. Bacon had A4 suited but a 9 hit. bye-bye. Then it Troy's Fall taken down by Rico (although Kodiak had just take many of his chips with KK in the hole vs his AJ - Ks held up on her all in). Troy had 22 and Rico 99. Some betting preflop. Flop hits 932. Ouch. Jim calls Troys all in and well, game over. Bye-Bye. And the rest is as above.

But the best was a 10 minute sprawl in which we were all in tears over a ramble of "special olympics poker tourneys". Completely politically incorrect but damn funny....deal the blind guy's cards face up....rain man table....etc etc....My belly still hurts (as does Bacon's ribs....yawning much these days??)

So a fab time for a small table. 3 1/2 hrs play and all fun.

And so another battle has been founght in the world of kodiak. And another lost...but her time is coming...see how close....

With KQ she finally was taken out by Stuey with A4 on a preflop all-in moment. Board looked like A2334 so game over. Third place, 5 points. Better than a another bun in my oven :>)

That said, she had her fun just moments earlier by aggressively taking Stu on a pot with 44 in the hole vs his 99 with AA7 showing. Her all-in goes unchallenged and she takes a bit of change.

As did others.

Rossy tried to work his "majic7" on Paul to no avail in a not so heated heads up eventually losing with second pair to Stu's top pair. So close and yet so far...

But my favorite moment of the night had to be the new levels introduced...
See level one with Rico...see winner at level 12 with Zeusy.... Boys with thier toys and no cards....nice grips. See Zeusy's aftermath also above....

See also the fate of pocket Aces as we have so many times in the last few games. Bye Bye Rico ~

Welcoming....

With all the recent success of our bi-weekly games and the feedback received on write ups, I have created this blogging site for recaps, comments and discussion about our little group. I will recap the games I am involved in and others may add descriptive as desired plus send out this blog address to bored friends. Any other info/funnies and pictures pertaining to our little group can be added as well...or even a haha about the kids. I'll be creating a section about my rugrats just for giggles.
